After reading America's First Clash With Iran and then playing Praying Mantis, only to get ambushed by Soviet ships, I revised the Standalone scenario and replaced the two Russian ships with the Iranian Frigates Sahand and Sabalan and added the missile Boat Joshan. More historical.

OK a few points...

1. I didn't know when I was weapons free so assumed so and fired before the first VHF message. Pretty much obliterated the platform before the warning.
2. If I have aircraft airborne at the beginning of a scenario I usually place them in a mission. Suggest an AAW Mission for SAG Foxtrot.
3. One thing I have started doing is to start the scenario 6 to 6:30 hours before the beginning of the action to allow the players to choose their load outs, just a suggestion.

OK, so an hour in and I think the Iranian Navy/Air Force are pretty much destroyed. Fun scenario, I would suggest cleaning up the USN side briefing to reflect they aren't weapons free until a certain time and then provide an "Emergency Action Message" telling the player they can fire.

Please feel free to make some of those changes. This is the first time I ever touched the scenario editor and just wanted to get rid of the Russian ships and put in the proper Iranian ones. Otherwise, I left the scenario as is.
I think the 6 hour advance would work as the scenario is over in an hour or so.

Excellent CMO Scenario Editor first effort. Mine was Merry Christmas, 1985 and very simple in comparison.
