I've been using a collection of small mods to improve some minor annoyances. These are mostly stolen from other's work, slightly modified for my own preferences. Credits where due (and I remember where I got them...)

Just thought it'd be a good idea to place them all in a thread in case others might find them useful. I use the Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME) for applying mods so I like to break them up into smaller logical units so as to not interfere with other mods and allows for easier testing.

The latest updated files will be available on my Gdrive folder for download:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1wCkzDxfc2kaX0e3-mfIHrUUQWwqpeo2g

The Gdrive folder also includes some other mods where I've just plucked the relevant files from others, mostly for my own use. The ones I include below are the ones where I've actually done some editing myself.

I'm also attaching zipped versions for each along with some screenshots as that seems like the thing to do with mods. Zips contain the correct folder structure for unpacking directly into the "Documents\My Games\The Operational Art of War IV" directory.

MODS:
Larger Arrowheads
Gray Cursors
Misc Tiles
Broken rail and bridges

Larger Arrowheads

This makes the arrowheads shown when attacking slightly larger and easier to see, as large as the graphic tiles will allow without overlap.

Gray Cursors

Much better looking cursors replacing the ugly hand, subtly animated when in action.

Stolen from Bananuman on Deviantart:
https://www.deviantart.com/bananuman/art/Gray-166470970

It only replaces the circlesc, crosshai and cursor1 files, and does not change the Assault/Bombard and map move cursors.

Misc Tiles

Replaces some of the icons from the tiles_misc file, most importantly the entrenchment level overlay, which I always found lacking. I think it looks good, but not sure if it might cause some gameplay confusion as it uses the same graphics as the tiles_fortifiedline.

Also uses the air/port, swords, and stacking penalty graphics from Cabido's mod.

Broken rail and bridges

More visible broken rail and blown bridges tiles. Mostly stolen from Telumar's mod, but broken rail made darker red and the blown bridges overlaid on the road/rail graphics so it won't look as abruptly cut off at the hex edges.

I started playing around with editing some tiles for more small scale maps: castles, monasteries or large farms.
Creating 1 tile from the existing TOAW art work is not so hard. But 80 .

Thanks for putting these together and sharing them. Really improves the visual recognition, and I like the style.
