In both of these standalone scenarios, the vessels are very wrong, being a mix of various frigates from several other nations than Norway. The vessels have the correct names, but the vessels are very wrong, making the intent of the scenario completely out of whack, especially since the 1957 scenario is supposted to be before ASCMs, but the vessels present very much have them.

I'm running on build 1139.2

I was just getting ready to post this exact same issue. I did some digging and it looks like some of my scenarios are configured to use the wrong database. I checked my 'Battle of Latakia', 'First Contact, 1957', and 'First Contact, 1973' scenarios in the editor and they are all using the latest DB3K instead of the latest CWDB. I tried searching the forum but wasn't able to find any posts related to this. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled with no effect. Is this a known issue with these scenarios? Are there corrected scenario files available? I'm currently running build 1134.3. My install was done using the following three files run in the order listed (base game + all DLC):

CMO-MultiSetup (build 11153)
CMO-MultiDLCSetup-Latest (build 11218)
CMO-UpdateComp (build 11343)

I tried to post my First Contact, 1973 scenario file but the forum would not let me. I also could not post the actual install file names because the forum said I was trying to post a link or phone number. Guess I need to post a few more times and wait the 7 days...

Thanks,

Mike

Updating to build 11412 did not help, but I didn't think it would. But I'm closer to 10 posts...

It happened to Battle of Latakia, 1973 too. I think the issue is that those scenarios were originally using CWDB but somehow ended up using DB3K instead.

I guess the workaround for this is that if you have CMANO, you can use the scenario from that game as they have the correct database set.

This works. I copied the scenarios from CMANO to CMO and then updated them to the latest CMO database and all seems to work as intended. An easy work around until an official fix is released.

I do have CMANO but the install files are on an older PC. I will re-download tonight and implement this fix tomorrow. I will also look through all the scenarios in the Standalone folder to see if I can find others with this issue. Thanks for the workaround!

I just went through the Standalone Scenarios and it looks like there is only one more for the list. As of Build 11412 the following scenarios in the 'Standalone Scenarios' folder are linked to DB3K when they should be linked to CWDB.

Battle of Latakia, 1973
First Contact, 1957
First Contact, 1973
Operation Trident, 1971

Thanks!

Mike

(Yay, 10 posts. Now I can attach files... in a week. )

Hi all,

There was indeed a rebuild issue with some of the CWDB scenarios in one of the recent updates.

The scenarios have now been properly rebuilt. See attached zip file.

The corrected scenarios will also be included in the next update release.

Thanks for the heads up, and our apologies for this error.
