Hi
I have got a jpg with several openloadscreen versions.
Has anybody got the bitmaps or knows how to convert those on the jpg

I would download paint.net, a free program that is very good. Move your large jpg into it, copy the single picture you want and paste it into a new
image. Resize to the proper size and then save as a bmp file.

Thanx Nomad,
I`ll try it, hope it will work.
After many hours with AE I`m bored with the "normal" loadscreen.

Hi Nomad
I tried paint.net and got it working but the results with the loadscreens are not satisfying.
So I ask again if someone got different versions than the vanilla load and startscreens. Maybe even one on the jpg?

O.K. you got me!

Only because I’ve been to Bavaria and loved it.

In Garmisch-Partenkirchen a very nice German lady helped me out once with directions when
I was a very young puppy/lost sailor in 1979.

I’ve made many of these screens over the years.

Do you have Windows 10? I can show you a free easy way to make your own or you can use this one.

You can use Paint in Windows 10 to convert this .jpg into a .bmp and then you must rename it.

You don't need the fancy Load Graphics.

Ha, once again help by Trugrit

I like them very much, your favorite has an eerie atmosphere.
Actually I never was really out on the ocean except on the sea between Greek islands and once from Bombay to GOA.
There is something special with the light out in the sea, isn`t it.

If you figured that out then you can do your own custom graphics for the game.

Next, you might try some underlays for fun.
Below is the hardest one I’ve made. The ship transfer screen.

I got tired of not being able to read the blue text and added some gray blocking.

I also put in a note to myself to double check if ships were in port or in a task force
because I sometimes pull ships out of a task force by mistake.

I just use three free programs to make them.

Microsoft Paint (Comes with Windows 10)
Microsoft Photos (Comes with Windows 10) (This for touch up and special effects)
Greenshot (This is for Annotation as well as screen capture)

Hi Trugrit

I`m still with Window7, but even if I had all the tools you got withe Win10 I would not try anything like you did.
I learn WitPAE and thats enough for a while.
Anyway you are great help for me and I`m sure for others too.
Thanx
