Morning All!

Am at it early this morning.

Got the following things done:
1. Checked the Dutch DDs and there is nothing wrong in the Editor. Class is fine and the individual ships look good. Keep an eye on them and see if they change when they enter Port or from turn-to-turn.
2. Moved a Base Force to Sapporo, Mukden, and Nanchang: FIXED.
3. Checked PP for the scenarios is at 75 per day.

Does anyone have the strength of heart to try and compile a complete--ONE FILE--ship art folder for the Mods? I have several folders but need someone more OCD then me to compile it.

Need a complete Art NEEDS list for aircraft and all naval wessels.

Dutch DDs. The ship and ship class files do not match up right.

I guess you modified the class and forgot to update the ships to match the class.

For the extremely gifted computer guy, it would be nice to do what El Cid does for RHS. You just run the program and it send the files to the correct folders on its own. Makes it so much easier when he comes out with his frequent micro-updates.

Is it possible that the RA4.0 plane art makes the game crash? Because after installing the 6 plane art files in the arts folder my game can't load scenarios anymore.

I really doubt it, but you could remove the artwork and see if that fixes the problem.

Tracker didn't give me a slew of error messages this time, just this one. And look at the alerts for the current turn. There's only two so I'm guessing that there's some problem in the scenario database or something.

This has not been implemented:

Japanese Aircraft: All Japanese two machine gun fighters (A5M4, KI-27b, KI-43 series) have been given a firepower bonus (Double stock Firepower).

Devices 1990 and 1991 should have their effect doubled.

Japan appears to have 11 Ki-43 IIc's in it's inventory. These should probably be Ic's. Also, the IIc's stats look weird: It has four 7.7's but also 2 20mms, and possibly no drop tanks or bombs.

For everyone using tracker, here is a new region definition file for you. I have added all the
new bases and set the order to be alphabetical.

After replacing the 6 plane files I don't crash anymore, either the files were corrupted or something else is going on.

After downloading the RA 4.0 plane art again, and installing it again, the game can't load the scenarios.
I tried to check which file might cause it, but because I'm not sure if I can only change out one file at the time, I've changed the files according to allied or japanese side. After checking it, there seems to be a problem with one of the files on of the japanese art files.

Hope this helps.

Ken,

Thanks for updating Tracker regions. There will be another 10 to 15 bases once I finish redoing China.

How is everyone doing?

Just sent the Dec 9th turn back to Kitakami this morning.

Michael is SUPER thorough so as he goes thru the Japanese dispositions I expect lots of thoughts there.

Allied Players: What do you think of the layout of Allied TFs? It is VERY different!

The location off Allied TFs is different all right. There was a particular one I had decided would die before escaping the onslaught. There were Japanese TFs everywhere around it, and I had to choose which direction to flee. It was a long shot for it to escape without combat.

It didn't. To my surprise, though, the mystique of the USN Cl in Philippine waters holds:

Day Time Surface Combat, near Talaud-eilanden at 82,96, Range 19,000 Yards

Japanese Ships
PB Edo Maru, Shell hits 36, and is sunk
PB Myoken Maru, Shell hits 20, and is sunk
PB Saiko Maru, Shell hits 36, and is sunk
xAK Kyusyu Maru, Shell hits 29, and is sunk
xAK Shinanogawa Maru, Shell hits 20, and is sunk
xAK Shinryu Maru, Shell hits 15, heavy fires, heavy damage
xAK Tenryu Maru, Shell hits 23, heavy fires, heavy damage
xAK Kanko Maru, Shell hits 7, on fire
xAK Taifuku Maru, Shell hits 19, heavy fires, heavy damage
xAK Taketoyo Maru, Shell hits 13, heavy fires, heavy damage
xAK Tazima Maru, Shell hits 24, and is sunk
xAK Tokiwa Maru, Shell hits 35, and is sunk
xAK Toyohasi Maru, Shell hits 33, and is sunk
xAK Yasukawa Maru, Shell hits 42, and is sunk

Allied Ships
CL Boise
DD John Barry, Shell hits 1
DD Mayrant
DD Trippe
DD Stockton, Shell hits 1

Japanese ground losses:
3822 casualties reported
Squads: 37 destroyed, 78 disabled
Non Combat: 122 destroyed, 145 disabled
Engineers: 13 destroyed, 15 disabled
