joliverlay, I play Allies vs Jap AI. I have played stock,BigBabes, and RHS scenarios. Those scenarios focus on realism, so no additional units/supply for the Jap AI. BigBabes scenarios were abandoned somewhere in 2015, they area not developed anymore. They are based on stock scenarios but reduce aviation support, ship cargo capacity, and change what engineers can do. The idea is to reduce the operational tempo which was very high in original stock scenarios. RHS is still being developed. The RHS scenarios are huge - they have more units/bases then one can comprehend. They are exhausting to play, if you like to micro-manage things, due to the scenarios' sheer unit/base density. The biggest drawback of RHS is its economy system system - there is simply too much supply everywhere. Thus, you get realism in device/unit/base department, and fantasy economywise. Stock scenarios were updated in 2018(or was it 2019?) by AndyMac. They have the latest AI and AI scripts. DaBigBabes would have been prefferable to the updated stock due to the enhanced realism of the former, but it lacks the updated AI and scripts. Still, you can port the new AI to BabesScenarios and play them if you want. Thus, I play the updated stock (scenario 100) but I put several house-rules on myself to give the inept AI more staying power. Rules like national supply,no fuel as cargo in xAKs , no 2Es bombers attacks in combat hexes. Thus, you gimp yourself to give AI more breathing space. The downside is I keep fogetting some of my rules (there are many!) and sometimes play as a standard WITP-AE powerplayer. Hope it helps.
