Status: offline 		I couldn't see the most important question being asked anywhere - is there a probability to encounter giant sandworms on desert planets :)?

Status: offline 		I just tried rolling a heap of desert worlds to see what came up. The most impressive was an 18 metre vertebrate monster. The largest worm I rolled was a 5 metre carnivor - so not quite at Arakis standard. :)
