so what is this? should i set it before launching the airfield attacks, and or leave it be? still learning Lots of things, not sure ill ever learn it or know it all.

it's only the maximum numbers of air travel distance your air group may do in a mission. Each hex is worth 30 miles for air travel calculations. So if you want to limit your air groups interception to 10 hexes, you set the air group range to 300

So short answer, you don't need to set that to attack air fields, unless it's already set below maximal range. For maximal range you insert * or 0

I limited resting (sent to a certain airbase) air groups range to reduce fatigue and cycle in fresh air groups.

U can also limited your level bombers so they dont overextend from your fighters on interdiction.

is it me or do Ju88s suck at airfield bombing, or is it that they only do poorly when they bomb airfields at over 30+ hexes away?
