Status: offline 		My wife wants to know if there is a support group for spouses of people who play SPWAW? She's just come downstairs to find me here on the forum, and wants to know why I'm playing games instead of finishing the kitchen floor.

Of course my wife did admit she prefers this to my softball and bar/grill days. lol :D At least she knows where I am now! LMAO:p

Status: offline 		Talk about Spousal support listen to this .....recently I had a short stay in the Hospital. First Mate saw I was having SPWAW withdrawal pains. She suggested that I consider buying a Laptop for my forays to the land of Tender Loving Care. NOW that's what I call SUPPORT. Now I need to find one with win98, sound, and good memory, maybe she knows that'll be hard to find. :( ;) :cool:

The perfect spouse would have found you a hospital with a PC at every bedside, instead of a TV. :)

Would a first step in the process of making me stop hating hospitals. :) BRILLIANT idea, Bernie! I mean, who cares about TV and daytime soapoperas (barf) when you can have a nice little flatscreen by your side with a hex pattern all over it? :D

I mean, if the airlines can do it.....

Status: offline 		Who knows where it could lead? You might end up with 'take turn' doctors and nurses. You might also have patients put under extended periods of 'observation'. When the patient would become incoherent at losing yet another game, the staff would have to console the patient with offers of where they could find cheat codes.

Status: offline 		From what I saw and heard in the ER last week, some of what you say is true about getting docs and RNs playing. I heard wierd music, no I was coherent, it was the staff playing games on the comps on the evening/night shifts. Might even have converted a few to SPwaw addicts, if I only had a comp. They couldn't even diagnose my withdrawal symptons. Shucks they wouldn't even answer to my call for a "Medic" until I pushed a little button that said "Nursey", and then they argued on who would answer the page and who would stay on the computer. Ah such is life.

I always tell my wife, after work I came back home, read the forum and only play computer games. Do you rather I come back late cause I have a mistress outside and buy present to you cause I felt the guilt? Sometime I tell her do you rather I have a electronic mistress or a physical one.... :)

But Wild Bill does tend to be a strain on the marriage :)

Status: offline 		Nah, that's a place where the wife loses their husband to another addiction; a worser one, one it seems some of the guy's wives are somewhat relieved that they no longer do. They already have support groups for wives whose husbands get lost in places like that, I'd imagine.
