Just got the games and downloaded all your mods they look great but for SC3 i have the mod counters but the map has not changed and is still the same ??

Hi

It's a great mod. The best looking counter mod for both versions of the game. However, I would like to try how the counters look on the vanilla map. I kind of like the vanilla map, but love your counters. Is it possible?

Aktivating this Mod in "War in Europe" the Radarmap shows the howle world instead of the European part.

How to fix this?

Just delete the mini-map file from the Campaign folders in the mod.

No. Removing the mini-map files in the mod is all you need to do. The game's original files will then show.

There's a finished version of my Historical Flags mod harmonized with the Knight's Cross mod that's been sitting in my Work-In-Progress folder for over a month. Real Life got in the way of my finding time to post it, but I think I'll be able to get around to it sometime in the next month. I'm pretty sure the mod was finished and just needs a readme file.

There are a few differences between my mod and IronX's mod, but for the purposes of the combined mod I've deferred to his mod except in three cases (and now I have to try to remember what they were, because like Nora Ephrom, I remember nothing).

It looks like I'll be able to find the time to start working through the mod again, so expect to hear something about it fairly soon. The mod will be posted in my Historical Flags mod thread as a variant, and it will be a full combined IronX + Historical Flag mod because otherwise you'd have to install it in three parts and in a certain order, which is a good way of asking for trouble.

I've just released a combined Knight's Cross 1.2 and Historical Flags 1.8 mod. The intent behind the combined mod was to get my flag research onto the Knight's Cross mod.

The reason that you need a combined mod is that if you activated the two pieces (regular and historical) of the Knight's Cross mod and the Historical Flags mod, you got different results depending on which of the three you activated first.

The only way to get the desired result was to create a whole new combined mod, and it can be found (in three pieces which have to be merged together after downloading because of bandwidth issues) at the end of the first post of my Historical Flags thread.

Most of the time when there was a conflict between Knight's Cross and Historical Flags I deferred to Knight's Cross. But I had to insert my flags into the Knight's Cross national symbols, and I also made two other minor changes (the war symbol on the strategic map now reads WAR, and I came up with a different icon for fortresses). [If I ever come up with a better way of indicating belligerence that fits the overall look the war symbol will change, and the fortress icon resembles similar icons already in the game so you probably won't even notice].

I will eventually try to figure out how to extend this to the World at War mods, but the chaos of Real Life (tm) is putting much of my modding activity temporarily on hold.

Hi,
I love your mod,IronX, very good job.

Fist of all my apologize for my english it's not my native language. I spent more time playing wargame than learning shakespear.

I wish i could create a counters mod like you did ;)

Some humble questions and suggestions for germany :

-Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgary have the same counter colour. Can't minor countries be distinguished with their proper color ? Hard coded impossibility ?
-Why all heavy tank lvl 3 are SS and not wehrmacht when so ? Is it because you cannot create another unit file in the "purchase units board" ?
-And if it's possible could be added to the force pool -infantry division -Mountain division or corps -Marines division (same as the japanese Special Force-Special Naval Landing Force Or US marines ?

Thanks again a lot, your mod really improve this great game.

This is the first module that I liked.The colors of the map are to pale and some things like forests or towns are not easily distinguished but otherwise are great.There is a national morale objective out to the sea,west of iceland and the german ships scharnhorst and gneisenau are rated as CC when must be BC.Thank you for your efforts.

The mod is great :)

But what's the newest version?

When i follow the downloadlink for 4.7 i get a zip file where in the title is version 4.7. but inside the zip the folder is named 4.6 - so i am a little confused ;)

Unzip the file and copy the folder in it to your Mods folder, my folder was located at \Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\Mods
