I'm still trying to figure this game out.

I have a detection level of 10/15 on Changsha. I can't find anything in the forum or manual about detection levels over 10. Should i do more recon to get this to 15/15?

I would like to add that sometimes against the AI you can see 100/10 levels sometimes... which likely means that AI knows personally each sailor& soldier on the hex

in PBEM I mostly see 1 to 9 over 10

Yes, hyper detection levels sometimes crop up. If you take a hex, the following day there might be a drastically higher detection level, like Jorge Stanbury points out (100/15 or the like). There may be other circumstances/reasons for elevated detection but that's the one I encounter most often.

I'm just wondering how your 'update' sig file can be so prescient? Somehow, you've fractured the space/time continuum and are providing us with results 8 days from now? How can this be?

Well, a perfect 10 is a dream woman (or man depending on preferences I suppose). A perfect 15 is a dream woman with a really rich dad who is 96 (became a father at 76) and she is his favorite daughter and he is into flying body airfoil suits over rocky ridges at 150 mph AND he drinks.

I thought George Carlin's perfect "10" was pretty good: A nymphomaniac coke connection that owns a Ferrari dealership.

I don't dispute your right to make postings like the above, but I wonder if this is the best place to post such things.

I agree I need to lighten up...as I'm carrying a few more pounds that I want. But working from home sometimes makes it hard to lose weight.

In any case, I can miss certain types of posting by avoiding clearly marked OT conversations with certain participants. But when I read through a thread about about "10/15 detection," I must admit I do have certain expectations about the types of postings I encounter. But if politics is going to infuse every random thread here, I will likely come here much less frequently.

First value is current detection, and can't be greater than 10. Second value is general detection from several turns, and is used mainly for showing number of units present.

You can check it at Bases which you reckoned few days ago, but now have no detection. If there were LCUs there, you can hover over LCU position, and it might show number, even if LCU icon is not shown.

Wow. Good explanation.

You may not like the person or what he stands for but please respect the office.

If you really want to lighten up, just go the the pharmacy and get a bottle of castor oil. Just don't eat the bottle . . .

Or take the colonoscopy prep . . .
