Hi i'm new on the forum and on CMO, I'm here to suggest some modifications about
the Italian naval fleet, if there are any errors please tell me as well:

1- FREMM Class at the time of writing the total number of fremm's fully operational
are 9(5general purpose one of this will become operational this year,4ASW)
unfortunely on the db it seem to be represented only 2 of them.

2-U212(todaro class submarines), at the moment are fully operational a total of 4 elements
(instead of as indicated in the DB where we have only the todaro(s 526)),
respectively (Todaro (S 526), Scirè (S 527), Pietro Venuti (S 528) e Romeo Romei (S 529) )
the first two (block I) are a meters shorter(56m), the second 2 (block II) are 57m longer
some improvements about comunications equipments and sensors have been made,
we also find compatibility with the new "Advanced Black Shark" torpedo of Leonardo,
details in the reference.

sorry, I'm a new poster, so I can't post links yet,(thx CV60 for the help)

unfortunely on the db it seem to be represented only 2 of them. There are many units in the database that are representative of a given class. Rather than enter every one, 9 in this case. If you create a scenario and wish to have all of them included then place one and copy it as many times as you wish and rename the duplicates to represent the actual vessels.

https://www.defenseworld.net/news/26943/Hungary_to_Acquire_AMRAAM_ER_Missiles_to_be_fired_from_NASAMS_Air_Defense_System#.XrcZrh7TU0M

Potentially a Hungarian Gripen update and notably Hungarian NASAMS AIM/MIM-120C7/C8 "AMRAAMER".
(I thought they jumped the C8 straight to AIM-120D?)
For consideration please?

Long time CMANO/CMO player. First time poster. I have been playing with some of the smaller nations lately and noticed a armament discrepancy with the Yugoslav and Former-Yugoslav frigates. The affected units are below.

The Spilt/Beograd Konis should have 2 AK-726 mounts but in the DB they only have one.

#1883 - RF 31 Beograd [Ex-Split, Pr.1159 Koni] (Montenegro [1992-] -1992)
#1955 - RF 31 Beograd [Ex-Split, Pr.1159 Koni] (Serbia [1992-] -1992)
#1956 - RF 31 Spilt [Pr.1159 Koni] (Yugoslavia [-1992] -1987)
#1106 - RF 31 Spilt [Pr.1159 Koni] (Yugoslavia [-1992] -1987)

The Kotors should have 1 AK-726 mount forward but in the DB they have two.

#1882 - RF 33 Kotor [Pr.1159 Koni] (Montenegro [1992-] -1992)
#1109 - RF 33 Kotor [Pr.1159 Koni] (Yugoslavia [-1992] -1988)

I've been playing with drones and detection ranges which has led to what I think is an outlier. The MQ-9B post 2016 can mount the Gorgon Stare (Sensor 3317, 3318, 3319, 3320). It can detect ground targets at ranges around 40nm. The only other system that is even close is the SR-71 / U-2. Most other modern drones have a detection range for the same targets of around 4 (four) nm.

So I did some digging and it seems Gorgon Stare's greatest selling point isn't that it can see out to 40nm, but it can track multiple targets at the same time using a massively powerful camera array. Realistically the benefit would be tracking quantity, as a single IR/EO head should/could only focus on one target at a time.

In a perfect world drones in CMO would go between search and monitoring and lose contact when switching from one target to the next. Then something like Gorgon Stare would really be exceptional as it could track dozens of targets at once.

Comparing the two I'm not sure what sets apart the Gorgon in the DB to make it look out so incredibly far. The regular AN/AAS-52 has a detection range of a normal drone.

I guess the tl;dr is Gorgon Stare = too awesome, range should be reduced to a more reasonable 6-8 nm.

The Egyptian Submarines Type-209/1400 can, next to torpedo's, also carry UGM-84L Harpoons missiles.
Egypt bought 20 missiles.

Source:
Major Defense Equipment (MDE) includes:

Twenty (20) UGM-84L Harpoon Block II Encapsulated Missiles

The proposed sale of these submarine-launched missiles will support the Egyptian Navy’s Type 209 submarines, increasing its anti-surface warfare and maritime security capabilities. Egypt already possesses Harpoon Block II missiles and will have no difficulty absorbing these additional weapons.

There are issues with the FREMM-based FFG(X) which was posted in the Command Modern Operations v1.01 update - Build 1146.1 forum. But I wanted to put it here

Here are my suggestions for the units: If there are any suggested corrections or anything I left out please respond. One particular question I have is whether it will have a hull mounted sonar and if yes or likely yes, which type.

FREMM-based FFG(X)

Displacement: 7500 tons

Sensors:
3x EASR
2x SLQ-32(V)6
AN/SQS-62 VDS
AN/SQR-19B(V)2 TACTAS
ESM- unknown type, suggest use generic adv ESM (2020s)
AN-SPS-73(V)18 NGSSR (next generation surface radar)- updated version of similar named currently in DB
EO/IR- unknown type, suggest highest capability equivalent system in DB, and/or keep SeaFLIR

Remove all of the following sensors currently on the unit: AN/SPG-62, AN/SPS-55, furono, MM/SPY-790 EMPAR, RAN-30X/I, MK1 mod 2 ROS, EOMS, EA-2118/AB, RESM, RECM, AN/SQS-62, AN/SQQ-89 (this is a ASW system, not a sonar), AN/SQS-62, UMS 4410CL, AN/SQS-63, Kingfisher, SNA-200, AN/UQQ-2 SURTASS, AN/SQQ-28, SNA-200/I acoustic intercept, AN/SLQ-32(V)5, NA-25, RTN-25x, SASS IRST

Mounts:
AN/SLQ-61 LWT
ADC Mk5 Torpedo countermeasure
32cell MK 41 (VL-ASROC, ESSM2, SM-2 Blk IIIC), no SM-3
2x324 Mk32 TT (Mk54 LHT default)
21 cell RAM
Mk110 57mm (with ALaMO ammunition- model AlaMO on 76mm Super Rapido Dart ammo)
2x 12.7mm MG
4x4 NSM

Remove all of the following mounts currently on the unit: 20mm/80 Oerlikon, 324mm TT twin (with MU-90), 76mm/62 OTO Melara, AN/SLQ-25A

Magazines:
Helicopter magazine -same as most modern Burke
Torpedo Magazine [internal tubes] – same as most modern Burke
Mk36 SRBOC
Mk53 Nukla
12.7mm MG

Remove MU-90 external tubes, 20mm/80

Coms/datalinks/other:
CEC
Link 11,22,16
HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM
AEGIS command datalink
Tomahawk command datalink
Lamps III ship datalink

Mounts:
AN/SLQ-61 LWT
ADC Mk5 Torpedo countermeasure
32cell MK 41 (VL-ASROC, ESSM2, SM-2 Blk IIIC), no SM-3 Strike length, so tomahawk and SM-6 should be loadable.
2x324 Mk32 TT (Mk54 LHT default) I don't think they added tubes, the previous requirements listed this as objective, not mandatory
21 cell RAM
Mk110 57mm (with ALaMO ammunition- model AlaMO on 76mm Super Rapido Dart ammo)
2x 12.7mm MG They went all in on the .50s 10-12 in total

All models of the Tu-16P Badger L are labeled as a Jammer but aircraft type is Recon and the only loadout available is ELINT. Since its an upgraded Badger J, I think the type should be Electronic Warfare and the loadout Offensive ECM.

Brandon,

ELINT is the only loadout for these aircraft however, they do have OECM/DECM capability through onboard sensors as shown below which do not show up as loadouts.

Good idea to change the type to "Electronic Warfare" and comment field to "Offensive ECM/Jammer".

On the DB entry #147 for TAKR Admiral Kuznetsov

The carrier magazine holds:
AA-10 Alamo A [R-27R, MR SARH] (#1901)
AA-10 Alamo C [R-27ER, LR SARH] (#1899)

But the only Flanker capable of Carrier operations is #57 - Su-33 Flanker D (Russia[1992] - 1995) which cannot fire these munitions. It uses:
AA-10 Alamo A [R-27R, MR TSARH] (#3585)
AA-10 Alamo A [R-27R, MR TSARH] (#3585)

So I think that the magazines for the carrier need to be updated (the TSARH existed as far back as 87), but the munition for the aircraft seems a bit odd with two entries for the same missile with DB numbers offset by only '1'. It may be that the second one (for 2 missiles) should be for: AA-10 Alamo C [R-27ER, LR TSARH] #3586.

I don't have a specific reference but popping around it seems the Su-33 could fire the whole suite of R-27 types

There are still issues with the FFGX. Please see my prior post and follow up comments/suggestions from Cheeckako.

-add VDS
-add surface search radar - updated version of AN-SPS-73 / NGSSR
-remove AN/SQQ-88 from sensors- this is an ASW combat system which it will have, but it's not a sonar. There should be no hull sonar
-add 2x AN/SLQ-32(6) ESM and ECM
-add generic advanced ESM (2020s)
-add some type of advanced IR/EO
-remove NA-25 and RTN-25- these were on the Italian version but will not be on the US version
-remove 76mm/62 Super Rapido
-add Mk110 57mm (with AlaMo ammunition)
-builder now showing models with 16 NSM (4x4), not 8x
-remove Dart/Davide datalink
-only have 1 AEGIS command datalink
-remove Skynet datalink and replace with US SATCOM
-also suggest defalut Mk41 to be SM-2 Blk IIC, ESSM2, and VLASROC, with other weapons loadable)
-possibly remove Mk32 torpedo tubes

The internal label for the JATM missiles in JATM Standard Internal loadouts for all the F-22 variants(2022, 2023, 2024) seems to be missing and is actually affecting their RCS. I'm using DB3K v485.
