Which WH40K Matrix game do people think is the best?

I have my eye on Gladius as it looks like it has the most depth.

If only man vs man scale had been done like the old Chaos Gate.

I only own Gladius and Sanctus Reach. I prefer Gladius most of the time, in fact I have been playing it quite a bit lately. Just finished a game 216 turns later, yesterday in fact.

Hi, as you know, they are two different games and both are great. I prefer Gladius which as you know, has some empire building/civ type component. I give Sanctus 7 out of 10, and Gladius 7.5 out of 10.

PS - to put in perspective, HOI 4 is a 10, and all of Vic's stuff (including Shadow Empires) is a 10. Oh yeah, DW is another 10.

Gladius is the best, he combines Civ and Wargame.
Sanctus is more nervous, more tactical.
Starcrawlers (on steam) is my Lockdown game.

Armageddon is the only Warhammer video game I have played in a long while. It's like SPWAW: it takes larger scale Panzer Corps and mods it down to smaller tactical scale game and plasters WH40k skin on the top. Oh fine, it's bit more than that, but on the level "spot the difference" for the most part. Largest differences are each unit can have several different weapons with different ranges (all weapons within range of the target are fired) and some units have hit points per "number" (on the counter). It's a fine game if you like Panzer Corps.

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.

1. Gladius
2. Sanctus
3. Armageddon

I agree Gladius offers the more complete and enjoyable gaming experience.
Panzer Corps gameplay of Armageddon vs the Battle Academy gameplay of Sanctus, you decide which engine you prefer. IMO Sanctus offers a little more variety on the tactical level.

+1
I even bought the DLCs.

Before buying this game, I was hesitant,
The images of the game filled with purple color did not please me while the game in real offers beautiful textures.
Second, the absence of an editor to produce maps or scenarios.

After a few hours of play, I am satisfied with the behavior of the AI.

The quest system is interesting but should avoid several points on the map to explore at the same time. This forces you to beat all your enemies and therefore complete the game before finishing the quests.

The gameplay is simple and well thought out.
I regret the absence of OOB (list of units) because I like to create a Deck of units which corresponds to my style of play.

I hope my comments will be taken into account in the development of Starship Troopers - Terran Command.
