As far as I know AHQs might help to replace airplanes and upgrade squadrons. So is it best for the Allies to leave them in Bombay and Calcutta and work on those scrab bomber squads there. I can`t get anything usefull out of those Audax, Lysander and Wapiti. Or is it better them more near to the front?

Put them in a base and have most if not all of their designated air units with the command range of that base.

Lysanders make nice light bombers but they also have cameras for recon. The other two are best used for training pilots or searching very close to a port in the chance that they might detect a sub.

Hi RangerJoe
Do you mean the subordinate AHQ like 223 Group RAF or the attached Sqn themselfs?

The 223 should have the air units near it, then be in the command range of the AHQ. That way, they both can help. If the AHQ has any air units, then they should be within command range of it.

If you need/want to, move an Group HQ into China to provide torpedoes if China gets enough supply . . .

But the HQs should be in bases built up enough to handle lots of supplies.
