I usually have at least 4 flame tanks in my main group.. Am I unusual in this respect? I use them mostly as infantry support, area denial, and as a more permanant smoke creator. Some questions though Are infantry suppressed when entering a burning hex? Does being in a burning hex cause supression or casualties? It has been said that fire spreads.. has anyone seen this? Does the ?Wolframm? flame rockets start fires? They dont seem to.. I also have problems in that advancing enemy forces me to do a fighting retreat as soon I have no visibility due to every damned thing being ablaze! Any other burning questions you folks would like to offer?

Units do take suppression when in a burning hex. I have seen smoke spread, but haven't *noticed* fire moving to different hexes. And I have seen (almost always) Wurfrahmen (sp?) flame rockets start fires, and it usually persists the entire battle.

Fires can spread (though its hard) and cause automatic suppression to units that end their turn in a burning hex

cward, I have seen fire spread multiple hexes in one scenario. My opponent was very fond of flame tanks and they were very effective. I now keep at least two in my own core force. WeyBug
