DXT1 with an alpha channel is what I would imagine for anything with holes.

Cheers

But Nvidia DDS Photoshop plugins have not a DXT1 alpha, just there is a DXT1 1 bit alpha.......

It must have one problem because anything saved with it, it is saved as a black image....

Well, just I wanted to create a bocage working as a wall......you could save my time sharing a fbx from the bocage.

Also double check that your new terrain object is set as alpha transparent in the terrain.txt data file.

Thanks by the info and the file.

Ah today I was working with this https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1037464024147224271/542848EBD16EE046CAC446C95BFFDAFF5A739471/

The idea from a building with two floors is just a cosmetic feature. In addition, I want make a building making a corner. With the textures from the game, I do not see it impossible. Always ignoring if there are problems with the units. A mod does not need be perfect at 100% if it does not crash the game.

I have made the bocage wall. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1037464024151413866/758DBFA296713715A7C16F3339480D45D1AD9A0E/ Not bad, if it is not used in long lines, three or four bocages per line, it saves many time. Thanks by the model.

About the two floor building, I have completed it and I was making another bigger as a corner. Just all these things will need be tested a lot because I have used the random textures, even I have edited some of them with less windows and other changes.

Ah I discovered how save the DXT1 texture with alpha. With paint.net. It can create dds with the format options.

Oh, it is far away from be finished because I have started it again, I selected te 1x1 scale in first place but it was better with a 2x2. And I go to need some time cleaning the older buildings. Of course, I lost most of the day making two new buildings with a size more similar to the originals but with less windows and two floors (just as comestic). The first building from the image was a bit too big.

I am not the unique and this game is too new, I am sure how in time more people will improve it and they will be able to use my work. I have added new vehicles, new buildings and other good stuff.
