It appears that RJ has joined CB on the missing list. And Orm failed to post today! <shudder> Who will be next?

Well, Orm has checked in but the others are still missing. This is starting to seem like one of those slasher movies.

Orm, you go search for the missing in a desolate abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. Play ominous music and make plenty of noise while you are there.
Telemecus, you get blind drunk and stand at the edge of a high cliff, close your eyes, and turn in circles.
btd, you do dumb and stupid things like have unprotected intercourse with a strange woman wearing a red amulet who mumbles incoherently in a foreign language.

There, that should protect me. Unless the phone rings...

No! Don't do that. Let's split up. I'll take my flashlight into the basement with the transdimensional portal. Wait? What's that?

Hey, Zorch, I am fairly exhausted by starting to many MWIF games. I have 4 of them running at the moment. One 4 player game, two 5 player games, and one 6 player game. And I am, sort of, the one who gets instructions from my allies and make the actual moves. Team leader, or team serf, depending on how you look at it.

So I thought; "Hey, why not have an easier, more relaxed game, so why not start up an email game with Zorch?" It will be fun. And don't worry, I think that a fifth game, without any partners, actually will be relaxing. So what do you say? Of, course you are on. It will be both fun and relaxing.

Thank you for the invitation, but I do not possess the aforementioned game.
What does 'MWIF' stand for? 'Mega Waste In Warspite' or something like that?

While that is, in fact, a Mega Waste-as you so colorfully point out, I believe that Herr Ormster was suggesting that the game: MWIF was, actually, "Matrix- World in Flames", a WWII operational/ strategic game of reknown.

Whatever became of CB? He's been pretty scarce around these parts. Must have gone on a field trip to study animals in their natural habitat.

Aye. The human animals are the most interesting of all. Except for their lack of prehensile tails, they'd be a most interesting species.

OTOH, the female of the species has impressive displays of plumage and anatomy.

I seem to remember CB was also in an election on The Thread!!! - and that I was his campaign manager! He should be pressing the flesh and not saving the world!

Unfortunately, Social Distancing measures prevent this. We're stuck with CB for the time being.

Pressing your flesh makes you uncomfortable, Zilch? Sounds like a personal thing?

I'm not into S&M, if that's where you're going...

MWIF is possibly the greatest game ever. Although it might have an contender, or two. Lets get the most impartial forum member to decide which game is the greatest. Lets get the Honourable, Lord Warspite, the first, to judge this important question.

That bloke sounds like a sensible choice. Too bad the Warspite1 git that I know around these parts couldn't be described that way.

Congratulations, Chickenboy, for making post number 25,005. It has been a true pleasure to read most of them. And those few that I hadn't the pleasure to read, it was my loss that I missed reading them.

It has been a true pleasure.
