In the "design" tab, it would be helpful if the "attacks per round" was also included.

Without this the overview of stats can confusing. I had a new version of artillery with a lower Attack than the previous, only by checking the attacks was it made clear that it was in fact much better

Attacks per round are often a Function of Firepower.

And is clearly shown on the model details:

I know it is in the details, but it would be an improvement to also show this in the design screen. I can then compare 2 version/models effectively without having the switch to multiple detail screens

Wait, you mean the screen:
Management -> Models -> Tab "Design"?
Because it is literally the last thing I thought off with "Design Screen". But "Model Screen" is a fitting name.

Adding Nr. of attacks there could make sense. But practically you only need to compare two things:
1. Firepower
2. Weapon design
to figure out wich model is stronger.

Plus, a general understand of what maters with unit designs and what not, may help you even more:

Structural design is the only one that maters in the long term. As long as the Structural Design is high, the other values will catch up. Base Design in particular will quickly increase with field useage.

Exactly.

Most people will look at the final attack values to see which is better , but without no.of attacks it is lacking.

The first time i saw a model with same Firepower, higher weapon design but lower attack values. It was at first WTF!.
Only after checking the details(for no of attacks) was it clear that the new design was lots better.

I have watched Dastactics so have a fair idea of how it works.
