I uninstalled my 1.01 Shadow Empires installation, the installed the 1.02 and 1.03 patch. I started a completely new game, and noticed that I am no longer getting bonuses (like free resources, or Galactic Republic equipment/troops) when I explore the map and grab town and sites. Has anyone else noticed this?

Might just be you - I'm on 1.03 and I find the special resource caches / GR units all the time.

Weirdly enough I didn't get any for the first six turns and then I got five in one turn, lol. Not sure what was up with that.

The rules:
"The first major regime to get to a free folk town or perk hex", is given a reward.
If you get the proper sites due to a enemy stopping to exist, you still have to manually explore them
Things you start with never have anything in them.
