Come on...it's 2020 folks. Why is it not possible to use the game launcher on a brand new product which I just purchased yesterday, to update to version 1.03? 1.01 Updater was bugged.
1.02 Updater works fine.
Also please give a error report better then "does not work". That one has never been sufficient.

Well, I didn't actually say anything about the nature of the error. It should be obvious that it's an updater error, but let me expand upon that...I click on "check for updates". The dialogue returned tells me there is one and offers me a "click to download". I do so. Then it tells me "unable to download file. An error occurred while trying to open an FTP file".

I'm using the latest version of Win10 and latest version of Edge. My virus checker is Kaspersky and there are no blocks to downloads occurring that I can see. My rig is an Asus ROG Strix Process type i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s) with 16 gb RAM and Nvidia GTX 1650.

So my guess is hardware isn't an issue.

I just tried the launcher download again and it is still screwed up.

You have to install 1.02 before you can auto update.

That seems odd, since the game version as purchased is already 1.02

Anyway, I did it manually, but thanks anyway.

The patcher also didn't work for me with patch 1.02, after manually patching that one, so had to do 1.03 manually again. So you're not the only one for sure.

Hopefully the 1.04 patcher will work correctly.
