Disappearing friendship pact, disappearing strategems - 7/2/2020 1:08:33 AM

So I made a friendship pact with a major. Next turn, the regime display at the bottom shows "FRIENDS" in green, but the reports tab regimes report shows under military pact level "Level 1, Non-Aggression Pact", despite reporting the friendship pact the previous turn. There was no advice or messages indicating that they had cancelled the pact.

To add insult to injury, when I go to my Strategems cards, I no longer have the extra Friendship cards I had last turn and my Victory Pact cards have also disappeared.

Any ideas as to what has gone wrong?

Did you check in the letterbox under reports? It normally says there when the AI cancells treaties.

That is supposed to be fixed in 1.04 beta 1.

Thanks. I've moved onto a new game with 1.04 beta 1. Does the pact cancellation not appear in the turn opening messages? You have to specifically seek it out in the letterbox? That's probably where I missed it.

Thanks for the advice regarding the disappearing strategems.

Yes Pact Cancellation is its own entry in the Letterbox. I feel it should be a vidcom message as it can be quite important. Or somewhere else you cannot miss it. I do not check the letterbox each turn.

Just to say - I'm playing 1.05 and still have had stratagem cards disappear.

In particular, Labour Day, Feats, and a few others that improve Pop & Worker happiness.

Just for clarification, when you are given Stratagem cards are they suppose to be there forever? regardless if one of your Profiles (or a faction) that issued that stratagem changes eg. Mind Profile falls back into the 40s bracket.

No I believe the conditional ones go away when conditions are not met I know I have lost them and it was usually if not awlays because of that, didn't pay that close attention to it.
