Is there a screen which accounts for technology point? I am particularly concerned about those coming from hex perks.

Reports (top-right menu) -> Overviews -> Feats and Bonus Overview. Here you could see all active effects on your regime plus sum of all bonus points you have.

Ah, that was the screen I was looking at before, and I was uncertain how it could be that the hex perks were being included. This is a very difficult screen to decode, it is certainly not like a financial accounting, with itemized inputs.

But with your advice to look at this screen again, I a new mouse over uncovered the reason for my doubts about hex perks being included. Research bonus points has two separate mouseovers. One says "Increases speed with which Organizations can research techs." Well, yeah. :)

However, when fiddling I see a second mouseover: "The square root of the bonus points is added as an actual bonus. Bonus points originate mainly from your assets." Wow! The square root! So 100 bonus point from a hex perk is really 10 points. Gotta wonder why it doesn't just give the number that is used.

Of course, I still do not know what I started out trying to be sure of. A hex perk says it must be connected. But does connected mean a) on a road, or b) on a road with some certain number of logistics points remaining?

I think this entire screen is a candidate for some clarification when possible.

Hex perks as far as I know just need to be in a zone with a line of communication to the city. You didn't used to need roads I haven't seen anything that changed that.

Correct, no road is required to benefit from a 'Hex Perk'...just via being within one's boundaries.

Thanks! Maybe another thing in-game that needs some clarification in the mouseover? It says "must be connected to the zone city" when it ought to say "must be within your territory".
