Allied offensives continue in Scotland and Libya.
Somewhat surprisingly we lose a corps in Libya.

Status: offline 		Scotland has excellent defensive terrain, I have no intention of counter-attacking here.
Reinforcements are arriving, Spanish and Italian.

Status: offline 		The Allies leave Oslo. Norway was probably just meant as a diversion.
We'll let the Finns garrison, they don't really have much else to do.

Status: offline 		Things are not going well in Libya. The British are remarkably strong even when deprived of, well, Britain.
I don't really want to but I suppose we'll have to send some reinforcements.

Status: offline 		Things are however going well in Russia. In the north we shatter a corps and an army,
and maul many more units. There is literally nothing between our lead panzers and Moscow
right now, but that will change in the Allied turn of course. We even risk losing a panzer
or two if SillyFlower can muster a counter-attack, but he's looking really weak. All the units
he'd need are busy on the northern frontlines.

I'm very happy with the progress we've made here. Our northern forces are drastically weaker
in air support and tanks compared to the south.

Status: offline 		In the south Italian paratroopers help us shatter an army, and Zhukov is killed!
We've achieved our objectives, and from now on we'll just go for whatever weak units
we can target. If our northern forces swing south, we may attempt to ford the Dnieper.

Our panzer units are quite tired though.

We lose two divisions in Scotland. The Soviets attack the Italian
paratrooper and score a Pyrrhic victory.

Status: offline 		The situation in Scotland is stabilized. More Italian troops will be sent here,
as they are withdrawn from the east.

In Norway we attack but fail to take Bergen.

Status: offline 		In northern Russia we shatter two mech corps. I'm surprised by the lack of
resistance here, I think the Soviets may be running out of reserves. A paratrooper
helps us advance towards Kaluga. Then 2nd and 8th panzers are used sparingly, ready
for one last push before the weather strikes.

The 24th corps is railed in from southern Russia.

Status: offline 		In the south we go all in against the Soviet 1st mech corps. It costs heavily, especially for the Italians,
but we make a crossing. I am expecting him to counter-attack, exhaust what few reserves he has, and then we can
surge across next turn.

The Italians will be leaving, ready to face the Western Allies in Britain, Spain, or wherever necessary.

I left a gap in our lines in the remote chance that SillyFlower is silly enough to come through it.

Status: offline 		We finally eliminate the Russian fleet. Every turn the Soviet air force has been bombing either our
fleet or the poor Finns, with little success. I suppose it gives them experience.

As of turn 81 the Axis has 2164 VPs, the Allies 1656.

The Allies land at Belfast and eliminate our division there.

We evacuate Ireland. Axis reinforcements are arriving, we aim to have at least a small
corps in each port.

Ouch! Our "Scottish Patriots" mobile defense force goes from full strength to destroyed in a single turn!
We also lose Tripoli and its Italian defenders (a small corps), no surprise there.

There won't be any counter-attacks either, as the weather prevents it.

Status: offline 		In Russia we set up in winter quarters. I am fairly confident about our ability
to defend here until spring 1943. We can afford to give ground if needed.

We take a single hill that had very light defenses. In the south there is heavy rain.

Germany is at 75% manpower. We are still replacing losses from Barbarossa.

Italy builds a small corps.

Status: offline 		Interesting a 500 VP lead for Germany and a fairly good defense position on all three fronts as winter comes on. If Glasgow and its Brit reinforcement zones can't be taken the western allies need to find an open German flank to turn. Portugal? Balkans thru the Aegean?

There are so many places they can attack. I'm actually relieved to have some troops tied down in Scotland. It's much easier when I know where the fight is going to be.
