Hello to all you great folks,

After some time in other travels decided to get back to the good old SPW@W and restart the Desert Fox MegaCampaign.

Downloaded and installed the upgrade from version 7.0 to 7.1.

The problem is that I'm seein a lot of bugs when playing the Campaign:

- units figuring in the unit list not appearing in battle,

- transports saying they have an infantry unit or HQ loaded but you cannot unload the unit,

- Infantry units with HQ loaded! (this happened with a Transport that was supposed to have Rommel's HQ loaded but cannot unload it and a Rifle platton. Since I cannot unload the Transport I decided to load the Rifle platoon in it. When unloaded the Rifle platoon had Rommel loaded in it! And cannot go into any transport anymore!),

- in last battle my unit B4 was highly surpressed once in a while with no reason for it. Happens the same in this battle (1st Agedabia Region - More eyes to see) with unit B1,

- in the 1st battle (El Agheila - Waiting for the night) there were planes (German and British) at night even if it says at breefing they won't appear!

...

When I open the Megacampaigns it says Megacampaigns version 7.0. Is there a Megacampaign version 7.1????

Cheers,

Did you check the download section here ?

Another problem might be with your OOB's - if OOB's play a role in MC's.

Thanks!

I hadn't seen this upgrade for Desert Fox! Should be useful.

I think however this will not solve the problem because it only replaces 3 scenarios. This seems more of a "core" problem.

Help!

Again: I don't know if it plays a role for MC's, but there are two 7.1 versions of OOB's: The original 7.1 version and the 7.1x version.
Infantry units with HQ units loaded sounds like an OOB problem, but I never played a MC (Too many mines! =>WB), so I really don't know if the "default" OOB's are used for MC's.

Losqualo: If you think WB uses a lot of mines, you should have flown West out of Oran, Algeria in the 50's, the desert had mines, both axis and allies, left over for miles and miles in every direction, you could see them or their impressions after the wind went by. Very Interesting.
By the way OOB's 7.1 and 7.1x are the same, just make sure all OOBs are dated 04/07/02 and you have the correct ones. They are the OOBs for all the Megas (to my knowledge).

Thanks for the help guys, but you got me confused with all the abreviations.

WB=Wild Bill?
MCNA=Mega Campaign North Africa?

OOB I know what it means.

And..., where can I find this OOB's dated 04/07/02?

Cheers,
