So what games are we playing now? Yesterday I bought Command & Conquer™ The Ultimate Collection, installed & played Generals, and I'm wallowing in nostalgia now. The simple, functioning elegance of it scratches my itch for good, old-fashioned RTS.

For JTS software I am playing:

For Histwar playing les grognards

To take a break from the above I play online solitaire and online mahjong

Clean the apartment interspersed with majong and having a pretty female lay between my legs or on my chest.

In a few days, I will start another WITP-AE campaign game.

Tales of Maj'Eyal (12th level human cornac berserker!) and Libertad o Muerte!- this is solo game currently hope to play pbem if I find any opponents-
In the long term I look forward playing Warplan pbem. I've purchased Histwar Les Grognards many years back but couldn't play properly. Is it better in pbem or solo.

Life. And I'm not doing very good at it. I lost the bloody manual :)

I'm likely going to go and play some Steel Panthers. It's my go to game.

LOL. I usually say that between turns, I am playing the waiting game (or life). I am happy to see someone else is in on that joke too :)

At the moment I am playing a Advanced Tactics Gold. The game lets people build there own games (so to speak), and I am playing my own mod Global Domination 1938 III (or short hand GD1938v3). There is a let's play of it's predessor mod on youtube, but as usual when a mod or game gets upgraded it is improved.

...main time guzzler right now is not a wargame: Call of Duty Warzone
I like these (multiplayer) games, including the more refined variants like Post Scriptum and Hell let loose etc.

Got a number of JTS games during the sale, but mainly looked at scenarios and art (files) not playing any games.
Warplan also mostly messing with files.

So many deserving games.

Been playing Third Age Total War: Divide and Conquer mod for the past couple of weeks. Version 4.5 update was released in April I think and I'm loving it so far. Awesome mod to an already great mod. Standalone file, all you need is Medieval total war 2 installed, no digging around for twenty different mod files.

Imperial glory ! Can't find any other game with that kind of gameplay, it's like Rome total war but napoleonic era. There's the whole map of Europe.
And no, this is not like Napoleon total war, I played it, and it's stuck on historical accuracy and you don't have an entire map where you can do what you want, which basically sucks because this would give the game all its value, but that's my opinion. That's also why I don't play NTW.
2001 game, I'd say underrated, never met anyone who knows about it. Can't post a link due to my new account, if you will excuse me !

Greetings valentin56610,
I have Imperial Glory and likes the gameplayat strategic & tactical level. I did not like the militia since they were too powerful on the battlefield.
Instead of scattering in a battle they fought like imperial guard units in melee. There were a few patches which addressed the militia issue to a degree.
The naval ship to ship combat was good for 2 to 4 ships but became unwieldy with higher ship numbers.

Hi!
Oh wow, well you might be the first person I know (After my dad) who owns the game / already played it !

Okay I see what you mean. They still put up a great fight even after the patches, I can assure you. Only way is to make them go round with cavalry and shoot them while doing so!

Now about the naval battles. There was a button to order one of your boat to follow an enemy boat. But other than that, I think this kind of battle isn't something you could easily if not at all reproduce in a game, since all ships were fighting in columns and there were many. Gameplay wise, it's not even that interesting I think. Less tactics than on the ground and all the combination you can get with cav + infantry + infantry etc

Recently I've played Field of Glory II, Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Elite Dangerous.

I got Warplan a few weeks ago - but I haven't got around to trying it yet.

Well what was the challenge here for European truck simulation? Any bad roads with bumper. In 2011 in the past I worked as agency to Ro-ro shipping from Pendik(Istanbul) to Trieste (Italy). Imagine Lorry driver fighting. That should be challenge for patience.

No driver fights in the simulation.

The game is far easier than the reality. I'm not very good in the game and so I would be a rubbish driver in real life.

I might get the DLC that includes Istanbul at some point.

Matrix World In Flames.

Patiently waiting for the next patch for Bombing the Reich so that I can begin a new long campaign as Germany.
