For what? An INP? Such a silly game.

I'm beyond that, but congratulations if that's what turns your crank.

Getting to be last viewing nights of comet. NNW halfway below Ursa Major (the Big Dipper) and the horizon. Trick I learned from one of my guides is look from the corner of your eyes not directly. Nearly doubles visibility.

Yes, when you look directly at something in the dark it does fade out.

Hi all.

High to you too, I hope that you are feeling good . . .

I'm fine. Can't say that for everyone around me though.

What's all this then? Hope Mrs. rustysi is doin' OK.

There's been no Mrs. for some time and that's fine as far as I'm concerned.

My longest friend's (over 50 yrs.) mom just passed. No really a tragedy as she was 97, but still sad.

The really hurtful one was another friend of mine son just died from Covid. Only 30 years old and suffered for over three months with the virus. The day he was born I took is pop out for that 'final' night on the town. It all just starting to set in.

Your post is clearly fictional, as breech loading cannon were not invented until the late 19th century.

Who says that cannon was a breech loading one? It could have been a prescient homage to things to come and just been an ersatz version. As the cartoon did not demonstrate the loading of said cannon, who can say really. Of course, the various dinosaurs on the 'B' ark should merit skepticism as well.

The barrel of the cannon is clearly too long for it to be a muzzle loader.

You are, of course, right. But Zorch wouldn't do that. He is to much of a Gentleman, and a nice guy.

Very well then. This thread having boldly gone where no thread has gone before, I hereby declare victory and terminate the 'How many quotes does it take to crash the Forum?' experiment.

Do you know why some Americans put their elbows on the table?

BTW, the picture is incorrect because there are no eating utensils there. The dull table knife was invented because people would take their own sharp knives to the table and use them. Then they might get into a heated argument.

Oi! Where?

'Twas on my virtual ride across America, covering the entire length of I-40. I'm rolling toward Amarillo.

But speaking of that, I need to send you a PM.

Not to mention Hansen's disease. The red squirrels in Denmark had the bacteria for that and Denmark was the sources of the red squirrel fur that was the fashion at the time.

Well, technically speaking so does everybody else with fingers. Sure, they use them to support and manipulate eating implements, but they use their fingers.
