As I was playtesting "Neither Fear Nor Mercy" campaign playing with the Germans, I noticed something strange when passing over a woods hex with the mouse cursor, i.e. a FFE counter (see image: hex 12,35 is the one where the "(Communal Woods) caption starts, just right of the B* leader).

On the subsequent turn, OBA promptly fell in the hex. I was unable to move all the units that would have been targeted, but I saved two squads out of three.

As much as I hate AI Artillery, it is the only tool - even though a very rough one - to give the AI some chance to inflict losses to a human player.

This is working as intended. Maybe there is a problem with the graphic presentation here. The AI target you but they also have some drift.

Hi,

Among the possible reasons for the PO OBA graphics bug:

- I have very often modified this part of the forest, including trails and VP's location; maybe my ramblings left some "scoria" in the file?

- Another thing: it's precisely in hex [12,35] that I anchored the text "(Communal Woods)".

To align it well with "Le Droit de Xoulces" I preceded it with a few spaces, a mania linked to my past related to word processing or desktop publishing ...

It may be that TotH hates a retired teacher's tinkerings as much as UP844 hates the programmed opponent's OBA!

Ah, yes! Just one question that's important to me ... What about the game slowing down after Turn 12? Did you observe anything in particular?

For my part, my PC isn't the most efficient and it still runs on Windows 7.

Hi Lillian,

I don't think so: I saw the AI OBA marker many times and in many other locations.

Anyway, if "This is not a bug, it's a feature" I'll live with it.
