Those fishnets on the legs - those should be taken off and used for fishing. If volunteers are needed, I would volunteer to remove them . . .

What? The fish from the nets?

No, the fishnets from the legs of those young ladies. You are not allowed to volunteer even though you are a medical doctor. Two reasons for that: first, you are not a medical doctor for humans; second, you are married.

This could be a very sticky situation if the oil and feathers mix with the fishnets. Sure you don't want some help, RJ?

I can handle it. I have a friend who loves to play with feathers and I a sure that her companion would also help . . .

You can help the other barbarian with the tar and the feathers . . .

Good morning to all of you! I tried to sleep in but the sky was falling - that does not bode well for the kidneys and the bladder which then sing "Release ME, let me GO!"

Discovered this last winter and have been watching C-SPAN3 on weekends. Weekends is C-SPAN3: American History TV. Great stuff. US history to present. This weekend presents several discussions and documentaries on the 75th A-bombings of Hiroshima & Nagasaki and Truman. Great stuff. Videos never seen before since de-classification all now accessible on the national archives website. Right now on C-SPAN3 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment. Blech, boring. Maybe more on the bombings this evening. Tomorrow morning Nagasaki 75th A-bombing starting at 9am ET. Great Line-up starting with Richard B. Frank author of `Downfall'. Also love his book `Guadalcanal'. My go to bible for that campaign. Plus his articles in several history journals. Great Author/Historian.

Good documentary I watched last night on C-SPAN3 was called 'The Last Bomb'. About a raid on Tokyo in July 1945 from planning to raid to landing. I counted around 533 bombers on the mission. Great footage, of course some staged but very little. Google it. It is around 47 minutes. Nominated for an Oscar in 1945 I believe. Released during the last weeks of the war.

I was going to let this one go... But I can't.

Every time a star dies its energy is converted to matter. All the elements we know of come from this occurrence, except maybe hydrogen. Therefore, since we are all made up of these elements, we are all just star dust.

But I ask again... Does it really matter.

Elements make up matter...some are more elemental than others.

According to the Bing Bang Theory, as formulated by a priest and as I understand it, the Universe came into existence from a little dot of something. Out came energy, which coalesced into little, itty bitty things much smaller than that Yellow Polka Dotted Bikini, when then coalesced into somewhat larger, but still itty bitty things and so on until atoms formed - which were mostly hydrogen. But globs of hydrogen got together with maybe a little Helium and had a fun time mixing but then had a big blast making larger atoms - along with some energy and other particles. This has continued with stars forming, farting and blowing themselves up until we are here on a big rock of star farts and dead star parts, orbiting a third generation star which we call Sol. There is only one Sol so there is only one Solar system. But I digress, that is how energy becomes matter.

Unless, of course, you decide not to exercise when you are full of energy and your excess energy turns into fat.
