Status: offline 		Food stockpiles have always started out with adequate food supplies, so why am I starting a new game with starving troops in the black?

Status: offline 		I have the same problem with mp games, on the first turn you're only able to move militias, on second turn you can move all your troops but you only have base resources and none of your buildings are producing anything, in the third turn you can finally start producing things and so on, but all of your troops are already starving and 20-30% of them are dead since they were 3 turns without any food incoming due the previous turns being bugged.

This has been happening since 1.04 in 3 different mp games. (Haven't tried mp before)

Status: offline 		What start options are you using? Also are you using 1.05? I've personally never had that situation, but especially in earlier versions some starts are prone to start you in some form of death spiral (some of which, eg city state on seth planet with no water mine, still exist).

Status: offline 		Never had a game start with actual army. Probably have something to do with logistics being one turn behind so turn 1 have no log and conventional units need logistics and some time to recover readiness, while the militia are always started with full resources and readiness when they are created.

We were playing with 1 or 3 zones start, 1|6 armies (1|2 per zone) and tech level 4|5

Playing w/current version 1.05, Single player, Siwa class planet, Beginner level, 3 zone start, 2 Armies per zone, tech level 5. I've never had starving troops on the first turn of game play on previous versions.

Thats the problem, you're playing SINGLE PLAYER, we had only problems playing multiplayer by PBEM

Status: offline 		I went back into the game to see if I could re-create the starving troops syndrome. I re-created it 3 games in a row when selecting the "Robinson Crusoe" scenario.

You'd said you were capable to recreate it? Then you can post instruction how you deed it into technical issues sub-forum as it's a definitely bug.

If you can't reproduce it then it will be very hard to find & fix.
