Hello,

I am using Win10, have installed the game on a new computer and tried to play in window mode. There is no way that EDTBTR accept this setting. I have changed this in the options menu at the start of the game, and I changed it in the game. I think there is one file in the SAV directory where the settings are written in, its date changed after the last change of settings.

When I restart EDTBTR it starts always in fullscreen mode, and playing is no fun in fullscreen.

I use version 1.03

Try this:
find 2 files called plpref0.dat and plpref1.dat and delete them. They are located in your C:/Gary Grigsby's Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich/DAT/SAVE/BOB folder.

Then rerun the game as Administrator and try resetting it through the Options menu. Note that it may take a few seconds for the "Use Windowed Mode" option light to come on, and you have to restart for it to take effect.

I recommend downloading the 1.05 patch, and the 1.06.05 patch is due out in a couple of weeks. Also running it full screen through DXWnd is at least as fast as running it windowed.

Ah, my fault was to run the game not as administrator.
