Tarakan was captured with the 90 oil and refinery intact. Jan 4 - Cebu was captured with the 20 resource and light industry intact. Vigan was captured. Cabanantuan, which earlier had flipped to the Empire, was recaptured by the Allies. We were ambushed at Ambon by a light Allied naval force, losing several transports (they had just delivered an Air HQ): quote:
