Erik Johnston's fantastic channel.

Amongst others a tour of a SR-71's cockpit.. It even had a periscope in the cockpit :-O

One can sit in the cockpit of an SR-71 at the Air Museum at the Boeing airfield in Seattle. What was really cool was to learn that the a/c leaked fuel like a sieve until it reached altitude and got going fast enough so that the friction of the air made the pieces expand enough to shut off the leaks. Another thing that's really cool is a pre-WW1 Italian plane where one had to stand up in the cockpit to fire the machine gun because it was mounted on a pedestal above the cockpit to avoid shooting off the propellor (imagine holding the stick between your knees while sighting that gun).

I hate it when that happens.
