[EDIT] - I traced this to a custom CounterNumbers.png file in a scenario. Once that was corrected then everything was fine. I'd delete this post but couldn't find a way to do so.

In huge view, counter fonts are blurry on my UHD monitor. Resolution is 3440x1440. I've tried the OPART ini resolution hacks, windows scaling, per app scaling, and trying every font in the fonts ini file. Nothing has worked. See the screenshot for an example. The fortification status is not readable.

Anyone else see this? Have a solution?

Adjusting the settings on the Control Panel should help. Select “Map” and then try selecting the up and down Y aspect settings. Looks like in the picture you posted the down setting needs to be changed.

Regards

Thanks for the suggestion rhinobones. I wasn't aware of that feature and it is quite useful!

It unfortunately did not solve the issue I mentioned earlier... that issue seems to be related to custom CounterNumbers.png files located in an override directory. On my machine, at least, when custom CounterNumbers is present it does not (seem to) read the png in properly. Acts like it is offset. Thanks again!

Where did the CounterNumbers.png file come from? Was it part of a scenario package, a down load or one that you made yourself? I would like to duplicate and test the problem.

Regards

In case anyone else comes across this when customizing counter numbers in a scenario, thanks to rhinobones there is an explanation for the blurriness I saw. There are two CounterNumbers.png files that are required. One is CounterNumbers.png, the other is h_counternumbers.png, which is essential for proper functioning of the 2D Huge view.
