Status: offline 		In a 3 player PBEM game started on version 1.04 beta 3 (version 43 in the dashboard) both I and an opposing player are experiencing an issue where replacements refuse to go to units on our frontline. From our conversations, both of us have plenty of logistical capacity and no bottlenecks to the front.

Annoyingly enough, returns to the SHQ seem to be working fine as I accidentally emptied out one of my units by changing the quality level of an older infantry model.

Status: offline 		From my experience, you need logistical network in the same hex as your headquarters unit to allow the formation to receive replacements. Operational logistics doesn't work for replacements.

If unit is independent (and not attached to OHQ), you need logistics in the same hex as the unit.

Status: offline 		The thing is replacements were working fine for most of the game, this is a recent problem. A few turns before this started I upgraded an infantry brigade to a mechanized infantry brigade and the APCs flowed out to the units no problem, regardless of being directly on top of the network or not.

Status: offline 		Select your SHQ and click on bottlenecks in the right-hand menu. If there are black paths, you are using all of your available logistics points. Under the Unit Admin button, also in the right-hand menu, you can prioritize the four categories. If bottlenecks are the issue, consider selecting 100% for replacements, and 0% to 20% for the other categories for one turn, then return to whatever priorities you want. The default is 40/40/30/30.

Status: offline 		Should have specified from the start but as far as I can tell there should be no issue with the logistical network preventing the replacements from moving. No bottleneck from the SHQ to the frontline and, again, replacements are flowing back fine.

I've also played around withe the SHQ allocation percentages to no avail. In the OP image everything is set to 100% to try and shake out the issue.

Status: offline 		One more thing to try. Under Reports, look at Urgent Issues and see if any logistical problems are listed.

Took a look at the savefile and it seems all the Replacements requested are Militia.

You do not have any Militia in 1st SHQ.

Hence no troops can be send :)

Also note that even if you had some Militia in SHQ many Militia Units will not be able to receive Replacements, because they are not the same culture.

Thanks for taking a look at the save!

While there are militia units that are depleted, those aren't actually the problem I'm having in this game.

I'm currently in a war with another human player and the frontline against them is the problem area. Every turn there's several thousand spare logistical capacity and no bottleneck to the front, but replacements refuse to flow. None of the affected units indicate any logistical issue in their logistical log.



As you can see, they're all regular units.





Here's everything that's missing from units, which is considerable. I realize that there aren't actually most of the needed replacements in the SHQ at the moment, but that's because for several turns there were several thousand subunits wasted sitting there. The machine guns are my canary in a coal mine here, since those are also clearly needed in frontline units.

Status: offline 		I have also run into this problem. I am emailing a save from the game.


Note I have parked an entire ohq and most of its formations onto my capital, which has troops in it. And they are still not reinforcing, so it cannot be a logistics issue at that point.

Status: offline 		I've also noticed this. I couldn't even send replacements to a unit that was even the same hex as the SHQ.

Seems to be in the new betas, wasn't a problem in past.

I pinpointed the issue. It was a bug I caused with v1.05-beta2.

Will be fixed in the next v1.05-beta5.
