After quite a few games of Shadow Empire I have yet to see the two above listed minors in my games. What presets give the best chances for them to spawn?

The one which generates more minors per map, also make sure than the pop before the apocalypse its at least 100k. Most of the times mutants only appear on breathable atmospheres and spiders its completely random, as happens with rogue sentinels.

Not sure, but I suspect the More Extreme survival option would probably do it, what with Mutants being former humans and Spiders feasting upon humans that didn't make it. Life Will Find A Way might also mean more Spiders as I think they're the only wildlife faction (other animals just form Non-Aligned zones).
