Sorry if this topic has been repeated; I searched historic threads but was unable to find an answer.

Does the "Withdraw Army" in the event editor withdraw the entire formation of the unit selected, or just the unit? E.g., if I want to withdraw an entire nation in a multi-nation OOB, and an army is divided into a HQ formation, and three corps (each separate formations), should I selected to withdraw each formation separately (i.e. formations Army HQ, HQ 1 Corps, HQ 2 Corps, and HQ 3 Corps)?

EDIT: I believe I may have answered my question. Does the "Withdraw Army" function in the Event Editor withdraw all units with the same Unit Color of the unit selected in the Withdraw Event?

The manual says:

"Withdraw an Army: All units with exactly the same icon color scheme (foreground and background) as a selected unit will be withdrawn from the Theater. This includes
Reinforcements not yet on the Map."

Thank you. Oddly enough, that manual was the first place I started. I suppose I misspelled Withdraw to "Withdrawal" when searching the doc and therefore never found the text you posted above.

heh, no worries...I searched for "Withdraw Army" (not "Withdraw an Army") and also didn't find it, but knew where it should be in the manual, so looked there. Good luck.

Thanks for pointing this out because it is the kind of thing that I attempt to adjust in the txt version of the manual that I keep. That being that we should be able to search for anything fairly easy. For another example, if I search for Shock 1 or Shock 2 to see what those events do, nothing comes up! You would have to search for 'Force 1 Shock' or 'Force 2 Shock'

The word doc I created should be searchable and the menu structure is in place on the left to click down into various areas.
