Status: offline 		End of turn east of Kursk, the pocket was opened. The Red Army sent all available reserves to this sector to stop the Axis advance.

Status: offline 		Beginning of the turn West of Voronezh, luckily the weather was mud this turn and the pocket remained open. Note the isolated Totenkopf SS motorized division.

Status: offline 		The Axis reforms the pocket West of Voronezh, this time it appears solid with little chance of a rescue for the trapped Soviet units. There are 16 Soviet divisions and 1 Cavalry Corps in the pocket.

Status: offline 		End of turn in the Voronezh sector, the encircled Soviet units are doomed. However they held up the Axis advance for 4 turns, greatly slowing down the Axis advance for a critical month in the summer of 1942.

Status: offline 		All 17 Soviet units in the larger pocket surrendered this turn. Another 3 Guards Infantry Divisions were encircled, a timely counter-attack by the Red Army allowed them to escape the pocket.

Status: offline 		After the Axis bombed the Port of Sevastopol twice a turn, every turn, for last few months, the Sevastopol Port is now at 96% damage and all the units in the Sevastopol Port hex are now only in beach supply.
