But that'll cost you a couple beers.

Wow, look at those jugs....

Of beer.

Whatever other jugs are there?

P-47s are Jugs.

But those that are pictured are artificially enhanced and don't you know that artificially altered food sources are not good for you? Besides causing structural problems . . .

G'mornin' you lot...

While I have been away from this forum for quite some time (excepting recently), I have enrolled in the Pfizer COVID-19 phase III vaccination study. 50:50 placebo: vaccinate distribution. I received my first shot in July. Sprouted a low grade fever for 24 hours and arm hurt like hell for a day. A month later, I received my second shot. More of the same plus a nasty headache that lasted 24 hours.

Since the trials never tell you what group you're in ('double blind'), I decided that I would get myself tested on my own dime for antibodies. I'm positive for circulating IgG antibodies as a result of the vaccine. In other words, I've been vaccinated with the two-shot series of the Pfizer product that will probably be available to the general populace in a few months.

So, this whole COVID 'thing'? That's a 'you guys' problem more than a 'me' problem at this point.

Pfizer, you say? Good thing it's not Eli Lilly or J&J.

At least he did not curse them with the Egyptian Flu. Men should never get it, only the women.

The horseshoe for the sub is the correct way. It is pointing down because the buxom blonde with the bier is on the outside while it looks like the sub is submerging. If the crew was lucky,, the buxom blonde with the bier would be inside with them . . .

Also, from the size of the sub, it is a 2 person mini-sub . . .

Quick check in as I haven't posted here in a while. All is well, just been recovering from a broken back and very busy at work after that recovery. Still alive and kicking!

Well, if you can kick after a broken back, that is a very good thing!

When I was on my six months of UN duty in Egypt, we were allowed one week of leave to go back to Germany to meet up with our spouses/GFs. Spouses were not supposed to come to Egypt which was still technically a war zone- the peace treaty with Israel had not been signed yet. But one of the Canadian officers decided he wanted to show Egypt to his wife, so she came over for the week of UN leave. On the day she arrived, he came down with Egyptian Flu - AKA Dysentery.
He was sick in bed for at least five of the seven days and was barely able to stand for another week after that. His wife stuck with him anyway - true love!
The rest of us made sure we washed hands frequently and ate only well cooked foods ... except for bananas.

That is not the Egyptian Flu that I am referring to.

It was as simple as slipping in some North Alabama mud. Feet went out in front of me, gravity took over. Compression fractures T11, T12, L1. Also, left wrist, navicular to be specific, as I tried to catch myself. Fifty six years old and never had a broken bone and did four in one incident.

Amy claimed my Jeep Wrangler will be the death of me. I told her I wasn't in the Jeep when it happened and if I had stayed in it I would have been fine.

I broke my left wrist and tore my right upper pectoral muscle one time. Th 1997 Blazer was totaled. I was going so fast, the airbag did not deploy. The sun was setting, it came out from behind a building, and blinded me. The first LEO who responded said that he saw spots in his eyes from the sun. I was told that there were a lot of accidents at that place.
