September 13th The Ise and Fuso class BBs bombarded karachi today but found dean had laid a few traps for them. Some PT boats were guarding the harbour but the BBs and DDs made short work of them despite bumping into them at 2k yards at night... Gonna send in DDs/PBs to clear out PT boats before future BB bombardments. Night Time Surface Combat, near Karachi at 40,8, Range 2,000 Yards Japanese Ships BB Fuso BB Yamashiro BB Ise BB Hyuga DD Kagero DD Kuroshio DD Asashio DD Arashio DD Harusame DD Hibiki Allied Ships ML No. 187 ML No. 189, Shell hits 1, and is sunk ML No. 191, Shell hits 1, and is sunk ML No. 193, Shell hits 1, and is sunk ML No. 194, Shell hits 4, and is sunk ML No. 200, Shell hits 1, and is sunk Reduced visibility due to Thunderstorms with 10% moonlight Maximum visibility in Thunderstorms and 10% moonlight: 2,000 yards CONTACT: Japanese lookouts spot Allied task force at 2,000 yards CONTACT: Allied lookouts spot Japanese task force at 2,000 yards The next surprise was Naval bombers set to night attack that attacks the BBs and her escorts scoring no hits. Then finally the bombardment went through and it was pretty devastating but not as fantastic as the previous one. Naval bombardment is gonna make the siege of Karachi a hell of a lot easier that's for sure. Night Naval bombardment of Karachi at 40,8 - Coastal Guns Fire Back!
