<summary>Change ROK Daegu-class frigate SAM : KM-SAM -> K-SAAM Haegung(Quadpacked in 4 per cell) </summary>
<detail>
The South Korean Agency for Defense Development (ADD) and LIG Nex1 completed the development of the Haegung (« Sea Bow »). It has been designed to replace Raytheon’s RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile and provide close-in defense for warships. It will be deployed on the RoKN’s frigates and landing ships.

The Daegu-class is an improved variant of the Incheon-class frigate. Modifications to the Incheon-class include a TB-250K towed array sonar system and a 16-cell Korean Vertical Launching System (K-VLS) that is able to deploy the K-SAAM, Hong Sang Eo anti-submarine missile, and Haeryong tactical land attack cruise missiles.

* K-SAAM is similar to French VL-MICA.

<summary>Add ROK Gwanggaeto-III class destroyer [KDX-III Batch II] (Anti ASBM), 2024 </summary>
<detail>
Based on the existing Sejong the Great-class the new AEGIS destroyers will feature several improvements including improved combat systems that can detect and track targets at greater distances and anti-ballistic missile capability with Raytheon’s SM-3 interceptors.

The KDX-III Batch II will be fitted with SM-2 as well and, possibly, the new SM-6 “multi-mission missile” capable of long-range Fleet Air Defense, Sea-Based Terminal defense, and Anti-Surface Warfare.

According to our information, the vessel will feature:

48x Mk-41 VLS cells - SM-2 IIIB, SM-6
16x K-VLS cells - K-ASROC Red Shark, K-SAAM or Haeryong Tactical Surface Launch Missile (TSLM) land attack cruise missile
24x K-VLS II cells (which are larger) - SM-3 or L-SAM Cheongung 3

K-VLS will be used to deploy K-SAAM (Korean Surface to Air Anti Missile), replacing the replace RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM). It features inertial mid-course guidance and a dual microwave and infrared homing seeker for terminal guidance. K-VLS will also deploy Hong Sang Eo (Red Shark) rocket-based torpedo (K-ASROC) and Haeryong Tactical Surface Launch Missile (TSLM) land attack cruise missile.

K-VLS II is being developed to launch the future long-range surface-to-air missile (150 Km range) Cheongung 3 (also known as L SAM). Naval News learned from a source at LIG Nex1, that the naval L SAM (which is still in conceptual phase) will only have minor modifications compared to the land-based variant. L SAM is intended to replace SM-2 in the ROK Navy.

Compared to the Batch I, which sports 16 anti ship missiles, the Batch II will “only” have 8 of them.

I noticed that S-8KO 80mm Rocket [HEAT] entry has most likely an invalid launch altitude of 10000ft AGL in the database; in the game I can launch it from a few hundred ft AGL (see the screenshot here: https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4909096).

I'm using the latest descriptions downloaded from Warfare Sims yesterday, CMO version 1.02.114714

As stated.

An AC-295 with 30mm cannon on the same mission is successfully engaging the same targets (Boghammer/PB's) within the arcs of its side firing 30mm gun so its not an issue with the target?

Hi guys,
A Couple of amends to the Royal Navy Lynx helicopter and Wildcat "ALL VERSIONS" do not carry Sonobouys and never have,the only reference to sonobouys, is that the HAS.2 and early versions of the HAS.3 is that they carried a Sonobouy Reciever called "Jasper" to monitors small number of Bouys. I used to be a Helicopter Controller in the RN

<summary>Please add the Iranian Yasin glide bomb for Su-22 and F-7 Airguard</summary>
<detail>The Yasin glide bomb has the outward appearance of a Mk82 with a propulsion system on the back and wings. First reports from 2019. Range reported lies between 50-60 km. On the bomb is written 300lbs, GPS and INS (for what it is worth).
Also a modification in the cockpit. The GPS must of course be a civilian GPS..

In some photo's it has a white antenna underneath the bomb and the Su-22 is seen with a possible datalink pod. In the second evidence link you see photo's of it.
This is probably telemetry equipment, because we dont see it in other photos. This should not be included.

Observed aircraft types are the Su-22 and the F-7Ns & FT-7Ns. And possily on the F-4 (see last evidence link, the pylon looks like from an F-4?).

So I posted this to @warfaresims on twitter and they told me to share the information here.
The Air Force is equipping its fighters with lasers with the primary job to shoot down missiles.
They are starting with the older fighters as they do not have stealth capability.The project is called SHIELD
If it works why could it not be applied to naval vessels as a short range point defense style protection against missiles. Similar to the phalanx or any CWIS system but with larger range.

Here is some info:
