Just installed H2h fr ..everything works fine, just for one thing..for some reason the unit sounds, engines, guns etc, have a horrid static hiss through them. not all the time, but enough times for me to shut that game down

You wouldn't have a modern sound card like an Audigy or one of the other 5.1 or 6.1 capable sound cards?

To the best of my knowledge it is a Sounblaster Live , it has 4 mini speakers and a woofer hooked up to it .

My nieghrbous never really like the sound of a m4 revving up it's engine *G*
