Hi, I'm watching a let's play video by "The Historical Wargamer" and his map (UP) has definitely different colors than mine (BOTTOM). Much more vivid. Any idea which mod is he using ? I prefer my land but I I definitely prefer his clean blue pacific ocean water than my swampy one. Or is it a sort of computer/screen glitch ?

I am using a mod called YamatoDamashii v2

Thx

there are actually quite a few map mods out there. you can google search the forum for all of them. I think you should find at LEAST 20 ...

That looks like the CloudyDay v1 of that map set

My mirrors are still up for them here http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/fb.asp?m=3862797

Yes I do.

I like it too but it's a bit too crowdy and it's harder to clearly see units. But artistically, it's nice.

Thanks JuanG. I see your post with the mirrors. Great, will DL ASAP.

*EDIT: what difference between 'stock' and 'extended' zip file ?

One is for the stock map (ie. the one included with the game), the other for the extended one used by DaBabea and some other mods. If you are playing the official scenarios download the stock version.

You may want to check-out the "Kamikaze Bellum Pacifica" map which IMO provides the best mix between practical informations provided and aesthetics.
