So I have just realised that because of its zero weight oil is sent to units in the field without expending any logistical points. If even a single point of LP can reach a unit it can draw thousands of oil every turn, this is bonkers and makes electic engines nearly useless.

Oil between zones is fine to assume pipelines but to units thats just kinda silly! It should consume LP when getting sent to units.

Aren't both fuel and energy sent to units for free? Page 310 of the manual tells the weight of all types of cargo, I assumed this was for both zones and units.

Yeah energy is free but that's kind of understandable as an abstraction and was I thought the only real advantage electric engines have over oil (they are worse in essentially every other way despite being far down the tech tree).

Maybe that is Vic's take on electric vehicles?
