ORIGINAL: Gilmer You can turn them off indefinitely if you want. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRbMfZKuRUo&t=102s The first thing he talks about is suspending Windows 10 update for as long as you want. Only if it's the Pro version. Win10 updates on my laptop with the Home version has ruined my days many times. It destroys my graphics drivers and I have a black screen when updates from hell arrive. The worst part of this seeming to be a conspiracy, is that MicroSoft deletes ALL your restore saves before it gives your PC back to you, so if it ruins your system, too bad. Frigging amazing... On my main PC which has Win10 Pro, I have to turn off updates immediately after a new install, otherwise the updates start right away and trashes my system. Timing is fouled up so when I move the cursor around, a pause happens every few seconds. It's a clipping, like in a video that clips but it happens all the time. I've had a computer wizard kid over here to try and figure out what's going on, he can't figure it out. The best thing is to disable the crap from the start. MicroSoft, man they have changed and not for the better. Ticks me off when choices are taken away and for no good reason. Deleting my restores,,, just plain wrong.
