Hello,

Here's a situation in B1147.15 where IR missiles cannot detect targets.

In the test scenario attached, fighters are ~ 2 miles behind some Backfire bombers at the same altitude, but the IR guided missiles (Sidewinders, AA-11s, and AA-10Bs) are unable to detect the Backfires in order to launch.

Just checked and it works in 14, but not in 15.

Thanks for the heads up, guys. The root cause has been found and fixed. The fix will be included on the next update.

Is this the same issue posted in the other thread? Is it related to the IR issue in this thread?

You are correct. I placed it in the wrong thread. This one has been removed as it has nothing to do with IR missiles.
