Where did this come from, I had not heard anything about this? Anyway, it has been a while since I have played the DC series (all of them 10 stars out of 10). Is it safe to assume that this has much less units/chits than the other two?

Looking forward to this, I hope I have the patience to re-read all the rules, etc., what a great series.

It was announced last month. It looks great! I haven't played a Bulge game in quite awhile, so this is certainly on my watch list.

Decisive Campaigns Blitzkrieg is one of my favorite wargames, especially the western campaign, this will be the latest iteration of an excellent engine by a great design studio.

Sorry, but I am having a hard time keeping the expletives from coloring my post.

Waiting will be the only difficult part - please take my money.

Yes and no. Plenty of scenarios with less chits, but the campaign scenario is huge and might well have more or similar number of chits than the biggest scenario in DC:Case Blue. This due to the fact that we changed the scale from regimental to battalion level and each division now has 10+ units.

To tell the true, there are also many company level units !
- US AT towed battalions (3 companies);
- US Heavy mortars battalions (4);
- US Cavalry Recon Squadrons(3);
- US Roadblocks(1);
- Ge Panzerjager Abteilung (2-3);
And you can freely create, detach, organize small Team or Kampfgruppe!

I was wondering about this last night on how the system would handle all the small American detachments that were so crucial to slowing down the initial German advance.
