I've gotten a couple of the blank messages I get when people hit the Report button. There is no content to the emails other than "Enter your message here" so I never know what the problem is or what the thread is.

It might have been me. I browse the forum on my iPad, and my finger has slided a bit and I know I’ve hit the redirect to the « buy the game » page several times, maybe I hit the MOD_WitPAE_moderator link too. I always quickly move back. Does it send you a ping ?

I actually don't know for sure how it works. Because I am a moderator, I don't see the button. I see some moderator controls instead.

It took me a while to figure out why I was getting those emails. Though they did tend to correspond to when the forum was having a problem. Instead of hitting the button, it's better to email or PM me. I probably should put up a sticky about it...

There are a couple of minor flame wars going on at the moment in a couple of threads, but nothing that needs intervention yet - I think the parties will agree to disagree or apologize for their hyperbole.

There is one by Admiral Dadman : https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4808856

The « Report » button is right next the « Post # » button allowing to get a direct link to a given post, on the bottom, and not on the top near the Quote and Edit buttons. If it helps...

As far as I’m concerned, I haven’t tried to report a post. I’ll be careful with my fingers, just in case.

Well, if someone has a problem with me, they can pm me but they don't seem to do that.

No, just pm since PM has another meaning in game terms.

Also the leader of many countries.

I have used the report to Moderator button in the past and found out that the message I sent with it did not show up. So I just pm'd the moderator to report the unacceptable posts.
