Anybody playing in a 1920x1080 (or similar) sized window in a UHD display? I'm running an HD 24" monitor but am due an upgrade to a UHD 28", I'm just concerned WitP might look "too small" on a UHD display.

It doesn't look less terrific in terms of the map, but text, buttons and clickable map areas shrink in size and can lead to some frustration. For example, the TF button to transfer ships to/from the base is right next to the button to totally disband the TF. And if you accidentally disband a TF that has a separate commander (not a ship captain) bought with PP, you lose the commander and have to buy him again when you re-form the TF. Eyesight problems of course play into it.

The advantage of the higher resolution is that you see more of the map in the window, so you don't have to scroll as much.

I am using a 2550 x 1535 window on my 2560 x 1600 30" monitor. The text is small but I find it readable with no real problems. I do like to be able to see lots of the map at one time

Thanks for the input folks, I'm more thinking of maintaining my current 1920x1080 window (windowed mode) on an UHD display...rather than going up to UHD resolutions on the game itself. I might try it on somebody elses UHD monitor first :D

You can always back out of a switch setting. It does not affect the game files like map, database, scenarios or saved games.
