The idea is simple, when you create a formation you can choose between infantry or motorcycles (like selecting between MG units).

I think this would give more flexibility to this type of unit and it is not difficult to integrate into the current game system.

And allow motorcycles the most advanced armor (currently can only equip the most basic).

Currently every single OOB and every Upgrade/Downgrade link between the OOB's are handcrafted by Vic.
So it is way more work then it has any right to be, but it still a lot of work.
And to top it off, OOB's are also part of the savegames structure.

I suggested a Simplification about half a year ago. I am guessing it is "on the list of things to do":

I totally agree it should be a thing (and indeed Biological Cavalry should be added to the options).
But until that rework happens, it would be changing a x3 Multiplierto a x4 multiplier on a formula that already has a way to high result...

I hadn't found that thread. I have read it and I agree. Once I get the OOBs that work for me, I don't want the rest.
