I have the tutorial pages printed out from Feb-2009 and I would like to review these again, but the scenario is not in the AE edition I believe. The tutorial says it's by Richard L. Porter. It centers on Palau. I don't find the tutorial PDF or anything related to this in the gaming directory, I just have these nice color pages printed but no scenario to walk through.

Help?

???

Start with the Coral Sea scenario, then do the Guadalcanal scenario.

I have done Coral and Guadalcanal in the past, what I want is to use these pages I have printed out from the original WitP if possible. They are nicely detailed and easy on the eyes. Is the scenario for this tutorial not there now?

There never was a tutorial scenario for AE. It was planned, but never made it to the release.

Back in 2009 I did the scenario with this print out, but like I said, It was for WitP. So it did not carry over to AE then?

Witp did have a tutorial and AE mentions one, but could not find it. Have read in this forum that is does not exist. However, as RangerJoe has suggested.

Although you have played them in the past there is a walk through posted on forum, somewhere ????, that is quick and walks you through Coral Sea. Found it of course long after have played it and having played 001 for some time.

Maybe someone knows where it can be found

Not to point fingers, but this individual (Randy Stead) asked a lot of good questions and received some very good advice from many players. He recently bought the game so he is learning and doing well.

I bought WitP first and did the tutorial with this print out I have now. It's excellent, 48 pages of great descriptions of things most people post questions about. I have it commented a lot too, hence why I want to do it again. I never realized there is such a great divide between WitP and WitP-AE.

Coral Sea and Guadalcanal are nothing in comparison, they don't have 48 pages of walkthrough.

I see that a guy by the name of RangerJoe answered a lot of those questions and gave some very good advice.

Maybe someday when I grow up I can be like Randy.

Not just me but many others as well. I just happened to be online when he asked them, I saw them first and so I answered first.

I'll be the first to admit, he asks better questions than I will. I don't know much about WW2, never will because I like the games, just not into history enough to get real good at historical games. I also have immense health issues that keep me from concentrating some times. So it's just gaming to me.

You're answers to those questions are quite impressive. You seem to know a lot about WitP AE and WW2. Good job! These forums are blessed to have your help.

Thank you but I read a lot of AARs and I asked some questions . . .
